Dylan Playfair, Fionn Whitehead & Patrick Schwarzenegger In Talks To To Star As The Titular Character In DC’s BOOSTER GOLD
We have learned that DC Studios is currently screen testing Dylan Playfair, Fionn Whitehead & Patrick Schwarzenegger to star in the HBO series, Booster Gold, as the titular character. An offer is expected to be made soon.
The news comes in the wake of Gunn’s dismissal of a recent rumour alleging that production was set to star July 8, 2024 in Los Angeles. Gunn said, “Although we’re still working on Booster Gold, production isn’t imminent and that story/posting is completely false.”
However it didn’t take long for popular entertainment scooper Daniel Richtman to reveal that while production hasn’t started, Booster Gold had indeed been cast.
Around a month ago we learned that three actors were front runners for the role, and the studio had begun screen testing them. These actors include Dylan Playfair, Fionn Whitehead & Patrick Schwarzenegger. We don’t have any official word on who has made it through to the cast since.
Playfair is represented by Thruline Entertainment and was most recently featured in an episode of FOX’s Animal Control.
Whitehead, under the representation of United Agents, last graced the screen in FX’s Great Expectations.
Schwarzenegger, represented by UTA, Entertainment 360, Viewpoint, and Patrick Knapp, captivated audiences in his portrayal of Golden Boy in Amazon’s Gen V.
